Brief History -
EQUATion Technologies, a
Canadian Company, was founded in 1987 by Pat Wade. Since
this time the company has expanded by forming an office in
San Diego, CA in 2000 and by merging with Mary Steacy and
Associates in 2001. EQUATion Technologies specializes in the
design, development, implementation and support of business
management solutions for small to mid-size companies.
EQUATion Technologies supports ACCPAC Advantage, Microsoft
Business Solutions Navision, and Oracle Small Business Suite
as well as many third party products. EQUATion Technologies
implements accounting-based systems with a documented
implementation plan which emphasizes frequent and open
communication during the implementation process and
supported by written detailed procedures. Standardizing the
implementation process has enabled EQUATion Technologies to
ensure all the proper implementation steps are followed and
allows clients to quickly become proficient with their new
accounting systems. EQUATion Technologies states they are
committed to helping clients achieve their long-term
technology objectives.
The EQUATion Technologies accredited technical team is
specialized in software installation, configuration,
customization and development, Microsoft SQL, Pervasive.SQL,
Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications and Navision
C/SIDE. The applications team is comprised of certified
accountants (CPA’s and CMA’s), Project Management
Professionals (PMP) and qualified software instructors.
Their expertise includes solutions for manufacturing,
